Our new and improved Plasmarl Fordstore

The upgrade 

Our Swansea Fordstore showroom has had a shiny new upgrade! In a bid to enhance our customer journey and streamline operations, our Plasmarl Fordstore has undergone a significant refurbishment, notably relocating internal offices. This strategic move aims to foster a seamless flow for customers from sales to the service department while optimizing the overall showroom experience.

The refurbished showroom now boasts a redesigned layout, strategically repositioning internal offices to promote a smoother flow of traffic. By relocating administrative areas closer to the showroom floor, customers can easily navigate between sales consultations and service inquiries, minimizing wait times and enhancing efficiency.

The before 

On entering the Fordstore entrance, you saw the reception desk and the showroom and service departments were split down the middle. This was creating much of a divide between the two sections and interrupted the flow throughout the showroom.

The Process

The maintenance team started off by mapping out all the wiring and redirecting any cables to where the new offices were to be placed. They then started putting up the framework for the new offices so that the Ford sales executives can transition with minimal disruption to the showroom. Once the offices were up and habitable, the Sales Executives moved and the old office removal process could start. Once the old offices were removed, this really opened up the space and allowed for adding more vehicles into the showroom whilst blending the customer journey between sales and service.

The After

The strategic movement of the offices makes the showroom so much more efficient and open for staff and customers. We're so pleased with how the renovation turned out and we hope you love it too!
