Ford Blue Zones cover over 95% of the country's^† motorways, where Ford BlueCruise can be activated upon entering. You will receive automatic updates so your vehicle will have the latest Blue Zone routes.

Ford have worked with the UK Government in introducing this game-changing technology and have carried out rigorous tests with over 100,000 miles driven for your peace of mind. In the video above you will see where the driver facing cameras are situated, before turning on Ford BlueCruise the instrument cluster checks your attention is on the road ahead before the vehicle takes control.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Curious to understand how Ford BlueCruise maintains your speed? Let us explain how. The Ford Mustang already comes with advanced technology such as Speed Sign Recognition and Adaptive Cruise Control^††. BlueCruise combines the both to automatically set the speed to the zone detected. For example, if you're travelling 70mph into a 40mph zone the vehicle will gently slow down to 40mph. With intelligent Lane Centring technology this helps maintain steering control between lane markings.
