Neath Little Theatre was established in 1935 which provides quality drama and learning opportunities to the people of Neath and surrounding areas, run entirely by volunteers.

A recent building survey indicated that the theatre has to temporarily close its doors in order to carry out substantial building work estimated in excess of £200,000.

Situated in the village of Llansamlet, near Swansea, Peniel Green is a small, welcoming care home with 34 beds, offering residential and nursing care.

Founded by Natalie and Matthew Ridler after their son Morgan’s cancer diagnosis, the Morgan’s Army Charitable Foundation supports South Wales families affected by childhood cancer. Morgan passed away in June 2023, but his legacy endures through our commitment that NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE.

Joseph’s Smile was created in memory of Joseph Yeandle who sadly lost his fight to cancer in December 2021. 

Joseph’s family were desperately raising funds for Joseph to access further treatment in New York, but sadly Joseph never had the chance to access what he needed. In Joseph’s legacy, the family are committed to helping other families who have to fund treatment/equipment that’s not currently available on the NHS.

Established in 1999, Faith in Families has grown to encompass three community cwtches in the Swansea area. Each setting based in deprived areas of Swansea, aiming to provide help and support to families within the community.

The Wales Air Ambulance delivers advanced lifesaving medical care to people across Wales 24/7. They are the only air ambulance charity, based in, and dedicated to, the people of Wales and rely entirely on charitable donations to raise £11.2 million every year to keep the helicopters in the air and fleet of rapid response vehicles on the road.  

Matthew's House provide unconditional hospitality for the most vulnerable people in Swansea including those struggling with homelessness, mental health and addictions.

Dementia Friendly Swansea focuses on improving the quality of life for people living with dementia.

The Pettifor Trust’s mission is to educate people on the welfare of animals and to support registered animal sanctuaries in South West Wales financially and non-financially. The Trust works closely with other charities to ensure we have an impact on the welfare of animals in Wales.

Many Tears Animal Rescue (MTAR) is based in Carmarthenshire, Wales but has dogs in foster homes throughout the UK. They take in and rehome primarily ex-breeding dogs who are no longer required; those on "death row" in the pounds and those whose owners are no longer able to keep them.

Goleudy are a housing charity, based in South Wales who help prevent homelessness, provide housing and create opportunities. They strive to create connections for people who experience homelessness, housing crisis or trauma.

Swansea City AFC Foundation has been working at the heart of the community for the last 15 years and more. Their mission is to use Swansea City AFC as a driving force for positive change within local communities, creating the conditions needed for communities to flourish.

LATCH supports the children and their families who are being treated by the Oncology Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Wales, whose catchment area stretches from Chepstow in the South to Aberystwyth in the North. Around 70 new cases are diagnosed every year.

The South Wales Police Youth Trust was set up in 2009 as a registered charity which provides grants to organizations and projects offering young people an alternative path than that of being drawn into crime, anti-social behaviours and substance misuse.

Since 2019 Griffiths’ have run an annual community campaign raising money and receiving donations of toys for two different childrens wards at local hospitals, Glangwili in Carmarthen, and Morriston in Swansea. This campaign has raised thousands of pounds worth of gifts for the wards, ensuring the children staying in hospital over the festive period have plenty to open and some festive cheer with Santa making the deliveries himself! 

Gorseinon Development Trust is a self-funded registered charity set up to support the community.

The Trust runs the Canolfan Gorseinon Centre, a community centre housing a business centre, a children’s nursery and a community space, which is currently being used as a Mass Vaccination Centre by the NHS.

Gorseinon Community Car Scheme is a service operated by Local volunteer drivers providing transport for the elderly and less able to visit hospitals, doctors, dentists and other appointments.

The New Bees community Team's mission is to unite local communities through compassionate fundraising and food sharing initiatives. Their goal is to ensure that everyone who approaches them, regardless of circumstances, has access to nutritious meals.

Swansea Storm are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where players can grow not only as athletes but also as individuals. Through teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to personal growth, they aim to instill values that extend beyond the basketball court.

Bishopston Comprehensive School have a strong ethos of helping and supporting people less fortunate than themselves, both in the local and wider community. They have, and continue to, raise a number of funds for different causes including: RNLI, Alopecia UK, Parkinsons UK, Swansea Foodbank and many more.
